Bennett Goldberg is founder of Creative Industrial Group and co-managing member of Opportunity Zone Advisors. He has nearly 20 years’ experience in real estate acquisitions & development. He began his career with The Lomas Santa Fe Group in Solana Beach, CA., then to AECOM working in financial feasibility of infrastructure and development for large-scale project including hotels, shopping malls and master planned communities in Latin America and Asia.
In 2011 he returned to the US, focusing briefly on real estate debt acquisitions before moving to a CFO role for Optimist Inc, a creative agency and later Comexposium, opening and managing the US office of a French private equity firm focused on revenue producing investments in North America.
Bennett received undergraduate and graduate degrees in economics from UCSD. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute, SD County Big Brothers/Big Sisters and UCSD’s School of Global Policy & Strategy. He speaks Portuguese, Spanish and Japanese. He’s also an avid surfer.
PATRICK ROSS

Patrick Ross co-founded Creative Industrial Group and leads all acquisitions and financial analysis for the company. With over 10 years of experience in real estate development, Patrick began his career at Mercator Asset Management in Boca Raton, FL investing internationally for large public pension funds. In 2013, Patrick joined Great Lakes Capital, a Midwest private equity firm where he worked on both the capital markets and real estate development teams. In 2016, Patrick moved to San Diego to work as a Senior Analyst for Zephyr Partners, a luxury developer focused on coastal entitlement projects.
A South Florida native, Patrick received a BBA in finance from the University of Notre Dame. He’s a member of the Urban Land Institute and the Notre Dame Alumni Association. Patrick also leads all underwriting and financing for OneTrent Development, a Seattle Opportunity-Zone developer. Currently serving as the Director of Finance for Maker Kitchens, Patrick oversees all acquisitions and financing of the commercial kitchen developments. To date, Patrick has led the financing of $650M+ worth of development projects across multiple asset classes. In his free time, he enjoys attempting to surf, reading a good book, and relaxing with his cat, Larry.
TYLER EICHHORST, CPA

Tyler Eichhorst has over 15 years of experience in the real estate & construction industry. He began his career at a regional public accounting firm in Minneapolis, MN. While in public accounting he managed accounting teams, planned, and completed client engagements including assurance services, general accounting, consulting & tax preparation with a specific focus on construction & real estate.
At Zephyr Partners as Senior Accountant then Assistant Controller, Tyler was responsible for all accounting functions & financial reporting for a range of development projects, as well as corporate accounting. Duties included analyzing & maintaining construction & development budgets, loan & equity draw coordination, monitoring project cash flow, & preparing monthly & quarterly financial packages. Tyler graduated with honors from St. Cloud State University where he received a bachelor degree in accounting with a minor in finance.
RAFAELA MALTA

Rafaela Malta joined Creative Industrial Group in 2020 as Leasing Coordinator. A native of Brazil, she began her career in human resources in the hospitality industry. As an HR Director, Rafaela gained valuable experience reviewing and executing contracts, coordinating government agencies, and managing interpersonal relationships across business lines. Throughout her career, she has successfully developed processes and protocols to improve business operations and employee management across various industries.
After moving to the United States in 2016, Rafaela has worked diligently to earn a role in San Diego’s competitive business market. She is trilingual, speaking Spanish and English in addition to her native Portuguese. She holds a BA in Business Administration from Universidade de Joinville (Univille) in Santa Catarina, Brazil. And while she enjoys the Southern California lifestyle, her passion is traveling, especially to Europe.
